The movie "Goat" follows Will Harris, an anthropomorphic goat with big dreams, who aspires to be the greatest at a sport known as roarball. In the anthropomorphic city of Vineland, Will, who idolizes the black panther Jett Fillmore, faces off against Mane Attraction, the lead player of the Lava Court Magmas. Despite an early start, Will loses, leading to a viral video of him breaking Mane's ankles. Flo, the team owner, signs him on the Thorns, much to the ire of Jett. Will is introduced to the team and, with the help of coach Dennis, scores a winning point, earning respect from his teammates. The film is directed by Tyree Dillihay and features a voice cast that includes Gabrielle Union, Aaron Pierre, Nicola Coughlan, David Harbour, Nick Kroll, Jenifer Lewis, Patton Oswalt, Jelly Roll, Jennifer Hudson, Sherry Cola, Eduardo Franco, Andrew Santino, Bobby Lee, and co-producer Stephen Curry in his film debut.
